Thanks for not snaking my Bushmaster HUMVEE on ebay guys. I'm thinking of maybe putting a variant collection together as I am seeing a lot of the Ambulance, Missle, and Cargo carrier versions appear. Still waiting on the regular and TOW version I ordered on that Korea run Jeremy (Hershealer) did. Did everybody get their stuff from him? I sent a check to him about 3 weeks or so ago and have not gotten an acknowledgement of receipt or even a response.

Steve,
Use E-Bay to assist you. You have his ID on their system, write him an e-mail, state its been 3 weeks no word, if I do not hear from you I will report you to e-bay and leave negative feedback. See what happens next.

Personally, I stopped bidding on models from any seller with less than 50 positive responses. And I will not bid (no matter how cheap) with any seller with more than 5% negative responses.

On e-bay it is definitely cavet emptor - let the buyer beware! So far with the above self imposed criteria, I have not been burned.

Frank,
Herchealer was not selling stuff on Ebay. He offered to buy some cheap Academy kits in Korea for Armorama members. Quite a lot of people responded and Jeremy wrote that he has all the ordered kits for us.

Steve,
I have not received anything from Herchealer. I sent him a couple of Polish resin kits several weeks ago. I used registered priority post, so he had to receive them long time ago, but he also did confirm it and doesn't respond to emails now. Earlier he wrote that he had sent three kits to me before I sent him those resin models, but he had made a mistake and sent them surface post... He was supposed to sent me another kit by airmail. I have not received any of those kits yet...

That's a bit of a relief! This means that my kits are probably on some boat in the middle of the ocean and I just need to wait a little longer for them... And most likely his military duties make it impossible to respond to emails and probably also prevent him from sending the additional promised kit. At least I hope this is the reason.

In regards to Jeremy, he just got back from TDY, so you and I should be hearing/getting our stuff shortly Pawell. Thanks again for that wonderful PE set.

I've built that M123 kit from Tank workshop....its a bugger, but really comes out nice

So far everyone I have ever dealt with on Ebay has come through. Thing I like is going off line with some of these folks and setting up good deals. I've done it with models, boyscout patches, collector cards, and action figures. (My house is a nightmare, I am Joe collector). I got with a guy that seems to have everything under the sun for that 72nd scale U-boat and worked up a splendid deal with him on a pack of goodies for it.
