Some time soon i will be trying to make a desert diorama for a Tiger .whats the best way to make my dio look like a scene from tunisia.i will be putting one Tiger and 4 marching figures and a palm tree and maybe same rocks.is there any links to doing desert scenes anywhere if so please let me know .Thanks in advance

When I think of desert I see sand, lot's of sand.

But seriously, Tunisia gives you a lot of scope. Sand only, as in desert proper but also rocky for the mountains, you could depict an oasis, or indeed a city scene. In general there will be an overtone of sand and rock. Don't forget that in those days their wouldn't have been many surfaced roads or pavements.
