I'm building a little diorama, inwhich I want to depict the silence after a mortarbarrage and an failed attempt to overrun a trench with a stug and infantry. I want to make the nameplate for this diorama in russian, with english subtitle.
I 'm wondering if someone can help me translate the following sentence: " the silence after the storm".
I got following reply from an online translator, but I'm not to sure this is 100% correct: "безмолвие после шторма"

My Ukranian colleague confirms that as "The Silence After the Storm".

"безмолвие после шторма" - would be correct, but it has a little different meaning: quiet (as in talking) after the storm
A better translation would be this:
"Тишна после шторма" or "Тишина после бури" - both are good, but there is a small difference: the first one I provided uses a direct translation of the word "storm" and the second one uses a Russian word for storm, you can use either of the two.
