Im still waiting for some figures to show up. so 3 of those wont be in the pictures.
Waht i did was take styro foam to from the hill, then cover it all with wall plaster and smoth it out. The cracks are from it drying up. I wil be going over it again with some more wall plaster sometime tomorrow
I decided to leave the 250/1 out sincei dont have enough room
( i forgot to think about the wal plaster.
The Bergepanther will be in the corner.
Now here is the fun part
I hand brushed mostly the whole thing black on most large open areas or on corners.
Its Model masters Enemal Black
Im going to put down a very thin flat coat of Tamyia Dark yellow Acylics. i will work up untill you cant see the black, then use a knife and make lil scratch marks

Looks promising, will the Berge panther be involved in some recovery or just be static?
Cheers

Hi Max: It looks good, but what is going on your high point? Some bushes, trees? What are those guys looking at up there? You could carve out a mg nest, or a shell crater. Just curious..the tracks in the soft earth look very convincing.

hey max i use the same technique you use with the styro and plaster, but i find to put your final layer of plaster down and u sprinkle finely sifted dirt ontop of it to create the texture of earth but the best thing is that when u put down tracks and all that stuff the plaster doesnt stick to your tracks and your fingers. its ALOT easier, believe me....i have some pics of my technique in one of my dios....
good luck!

Up there in a the corner will be a 7.5 Pak gun * cut up from the corners so it looks more realistic.
But i dont know.
THe ground will be realyl wet and muddy and it will be sometime in the fall when it rained it it will be very cold
The figures are "smoking"
But im going to be adding some other figures instead of this but im nore sure yet.

Really like how this is developing. A lot of opportunity to add some extras. Maybe have the Bergepanther taking on some supplies or refueling with crew involved, seems a little lonesome being static. The "highpoint" could be an observation point with officer and field glasses from behind tree or bushes. Just some ideas. Keep up the great work and us updated,
