Hi all,
here is one of my contribution to this campaign.
The kit is Ironside's one. This is a mix of Academy M113 A2 (if I'm right) kit without the inner parts, the Eastern express AA gun and some Pe and resin parts from Azimut.
The camo is the the one of the 10th armored brigade.
I hope you'll enjoy it
cheers

Very interesting combination. Did the ZU-23-2 come with the GAZ-66 or did they make a separate kit?

Good work on an unusual subject/configuration. Thanks for sharing it with us. I love to see variations of vehicles such as this.

Great job Bison! The weathering is superb! Did you use pastels to give it that dusty look?

Well the ZU 23-2 is probably the one coming with the GAZ but as usual with Ironside ,the kits they release are a mixture of parts from others kits with some parts of their own to improve the original ones.
As far the AA gun is concerned, the improved parts were some PE parts for the seats, the barrels wooden handles and the ammo boxes. Other resin parts help detailing at least the gunner sight.

In fact, I did not use pastels. I only did a drybrush with enamel paints of different sand colors. The drybrush done and dry, I sprayed a mix of water with few drops of XF60 paints from a distance. When the mix is dry, just a few spots are filled with dust.

Hi Marcel,
indeed you're right about the fact this kit has been built before the starting date of this campaign.
I'm really sorry but I must have misundertood the rules as I didn't understand that I should start a kit by the opening date of the campaign. Sorry for this.
No intent of cheating here. ;-)
I just have to start another kit compliant with the campaign rules !! It is in no way a penalty just a matter of time as there are plenty of variants still to build.
cheers and good luck for you in this campaign

Either way, if your model was built prior to the beginning of the build or not, I LIKE IT!!!
But then again, I love EVERYTHING related to AAA! Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing your work with us!
