Hi there,

my bunker/pillbox is almost done now. I made a few pics so I will let them speak

As you have probably noticed it is a deserted bunker. Maybe 20 years after WWII, who will know.....

Tips and comments are very welcome.

Jurjen: your pillbox and groundwork look awesome. Could you explain your techniques?

Nice job, I like the overall impression it makes. I would make a suggestion - for such an old bunker I would darken it and stain it more (all over). Leaves from the tree would get all over it and rot and leave residu and rain alone would wash stuff all over it.

As it is still in progress, I'll save any comments until after you have finshed it (but not finished it enough that you can't change anything towards any suggestions). Personally it looks awesome. Your foliage is very realistic. Keep it up.

Jurgen -

Really looks great and the foliage as mentioned is especially outstanding. Is this to be an "in use" pillbox? If so maybe a somewhat worn "path" to entrance? Just an idea. Appreciate the "posts" as it has given me some valuable ideas for working on my projects. Keep us posted,

Wow, that looks good! You really got the overgrown 'abandoned for years look' right. I love that tree. How did you create the crown? I would add some downward streaks on the walls, like Slodder mentioned, the leaves and rain would have left a lot of residue. Other than that I wouldn't muck about to much with it. Apart maybe from a skeleton in the corner
