With the Remember Korea Campaign underway, Jackhammer81 and myself would like to do a Diorama to enter into the Campaign. I was wondering if anyone out that had some good color refrence photos of the Korean War or if you could give me some links to check out. Any help i would be most greatful for. Thanks in advance.

I know I have a few more. I'll check tonight when I get home. If you don't mind doing research the old fashion way, i.e. Books a couple I can suggest are
"Breakout" by Martin Russ. Its the story of the 1st Marine div's fight at the Chosin Reservoir. "The Battle For Korea" Its the Associated Press History of the Korean war. Its a brief history of the whole war but with alot of pictures. Lastly, "The Korean War" by Matthew Ridgway. It covers the whole war but its written from Ridgway's view both before he takes over as Allied Commander and after he leaves. Not to many pictures, but a interesting look at the behind the scenes of the politics of war.

Hope this helps

Hi Mary. See if you can get yourself copies of Concord Publications Armor of the Korean War, and Squadron Signal Publications Armor in Korea 1950-53. Both contain B&W photos and color profiles of vehicles and equipment. Cost effective as well, they are both inexpensive ($12-$14ea)

I recommend both of these as good quick reference for your diorama build. Lots of in-action shots, and the "field conditions" in which both the troops and vehicles fought.

Check them out

PROST !!
