Greeting cultural lovers :-) Here is a pic of the 5th wheel of my truck You will note that it is well greased For those just getting into trucks there is a reason for it
Without the grease on it the trailer can actually freeze onto the 5th wheel and not be able to turn Even more so in cold weather
It also can be bad for the front end of the truck if not properly greased up

I don't think so Cliff. They come rolling thru ND and Mn with our -50 wind chills with no problem. I'd be interested to know how often the grease job has to be redone, say on a cross country trip.
