Best wish and pleantiful reasearch photo's . I can not wait to see the progress pictures.
Have fun, have a few on me before you start because it's a big kit . Because you probably won't have enough time to while doing the kit.
Happy Modeling

Congratulations.I built one of them, shortly after it was released. It takes time, but the key is to plan ahead.Keep us updated and I will give you hints on how I painted mine in sections.

Ok,build a little out of order.Assemble 3 sections of the roadbed, ties in the right spaces, and rails slid into place.Assemble the wheels onto the axles, and use the track to get the gauge set.
I reccomend painting the wheels/axles flat black, then a dusty rust over that.
Concentrate on getting the railbogies assembled.I know from experiance, the "steps " which are on the ends, should be left off till the end. They are prone for knocking off.
Frequently.
Some other prepainting you cna do,the inside surface of the main "box".
Also the bulkheads .

Good luck and enjoy. You may need 700 Euro worth of storage space when it is done!!
