i put a mighty mite airbrush set on layaway at walmart, 50 bucks and comes with 4 or 6 acrylic paints, as this is my first venture into airbrushing, tot i'd start out small with something to train on.
has anyone else used this or have any knowledge of it?
i have not gotten it yet, as a beginner i want to start out by just useing the ab to practice and leran. what type paints are best, and how do you do the mix ratio with thinners?

Long live walmart!
did you buy the aztek ab? with the orange paint holder?
thast the one i had! works okay.
acrylics work myracls with me... especialy testors. not very expensive and i get good results of it... just make sur it is thinned PERFECTLY! no clogs at the bottom of the bottle! and a for ratio, 50-50 is okay... depends on a lot, your air pressure and how wide you want your coverage to be and from how far you paint... pretty complex stuff, least for me... iam slowly getting the hand of it myself.
But way to go with the buy!
and good luck! and be PATIENT!
