Here in the states, when I go into a model train store, I see loads of vintage signs and decal sheets that would be perfect to use in my dioramas... but they are all for AMERICAN products. (ie, Coca Cola, Burma Shave, Gilette Razors, Hershey Candy, Sunco Gasoline, etc.). I never see European (French, german, Dutch, Belgian, etc.) signs for model trains. Even the major supply catalogs in the US don't offer anything other than US signs and decals.
Surely the model train hobby must be popular in Europe as well.. can anyone point me to a website that sells scale train signs for european products in the 1920's 1950's era? Particularly 1:48 scale, which I think the train hobbyist call "O - Scale"

Try Marklin, they're one of the big wheels in Europe, and they're on the web I was on their site about two months ago.

Here's another one to try, Langley Models . Mostly UK signs but they also have one European set in 0 gauge. You could also try a search here International Posters and print the type, period and nationality you need.

Thanks for several of the leads... I will investigate further. But I also want to be more specific... I have TONS of posters in almost any language.... what i don't have are "product signs" like those found in shop windows, or perhaps a gasoline logo found on the front of a petrol pump. The LANGLEY images are right on target, but they only offer the UK signs. I need the equivilent for France, Belgium, Holland, Italy, and Germany. Even things like billboards would be welcome... just not more posters.
