I used this on my very first build and it looks much too light to me, at least compared with Tamiya's OD. I used it straight from the bottle with no thinning. I've checked a couple of different color charts and both show a much darker color than what I ended up with.

Has anyone else found this to be the case with this paint? Or did I just get a couple of bad bottles maybe?

i thought the first thing when i picked up a bottle. but somehow it seems about right now. if you check in my gallery, the halftrack is painted with it.

Noah, that sure looks like the same color I have. It does look good on your piece. Maybe I'll think the same of my M3A1 when it's complete.

i have that paint, and painted my sherman with it, came out darker than that.. but it still looks fine on your tank

Keep in mind that each vehicle will weather and fade differently than the next one. OD green seems to me to have faded quickly on some vehicles. Also the paints were not absolutely identical in every batch, so even some initial differences in color happened. I think it looks fine the way it is.
