I finially recieved my Hobby Fan M911 Tractor and M911 semi-trailer today. It felt like christmas morning again.
But I already have some questions;
The parts that were glued together are not put together right how do I seperate them when I think there glued with super glue.
If there's any parts missing or need replacement parts there's a Taiwan address would it be a problem getting the parts or are they good about that.
Like you guys said it will be a challenge for me and a great growth experience.
What tools should I use to cut the the resin and to cut the trailer deck to make it a US version because I don't have any resin tools and I don't want to mess this up. I was wondering if money wasn't a issue what are the best tools.
GREAT MODELING DAY TODAY

there's a Superglue debonding agent available. (Acetone AKA Nail polish remover also works)
tools:
Razor saw....... or sanding (be sure to wear a dust mask!!!!)
The M911 Tractor and M911 semi-trailer Are the US version........ the decking should be ok!!!

I felt the same way about my M-123c tractor kit from Tank WOrkshop. It was a very tough and challenging kit, but patience and perserverance paid off and I have a great looking tractor trailer rig (I converted the old Peerless Max m-15a1 trailer to reasonable correctness). Gotta kit bashed M-60 (round turret)conversion on it

So I was bidding against you Tom...hmmmmm... :-)
Now I got no way to get all those M113's to the front!
Hey, enjoy the kit. Acetone has always worked for me to debond pieces glued together.

This unfortunately is not true! Hobby Fan trailer is not US version, but Korean one. It is different from US M747 trailer, which was used with M911. I'm not sure if Korean trailer can be converted to M747. Read this Missing-Lynx thread for more info: http://www.network54.com/Forum/message?forumid=47209&messageid=1098063226

I found a site where you could ugrade it and superdetail this thing to the max every nut & bult hose etc. I'll try and post the site
https://www.logsa.army.mil/etms/data/A/034271.pdf " TARGET="_blank"> https://www.logsa.army.mil/etms/data/A/034271.pdf
I found it for the truck, I'll try to find the trailer because they where also used for non military also so maybe I can mix the two to get the right one.
Happy Modeling
PS For scrap building the extra detail don't you just use the tech manuals because I think I can convert the trailer to a US version it'll be hard but what isn't when scrap building.
Wish me luck.

I found out that it is Used in the ODS for tactical units and is used now for APS useage. It was made by a non-army company talbert but the M747 was built by the Army in house and it's still used in OIF for APS I was just updating this post for people who posted here.
There is a newer post about offical news called M911 talbert info about calls to the company and to the Army 233rd in fort knox that made the offical army useage about this talbert Hobby fan kit was the US version and Tiawan version.
Happy Modeling
