I'm in the middle of a nearly ootb (read as only adding scratchbuilt and salvaged part detailing, no aftermarket) Wespe for a club build due in Dec.
Flipping through the few vol's I have with Wespe coverage, I just realized I am jonsing badly for the kind of line drawings in the Achtung Panzer series of books for the interior and fittings.
A quick check claims that there is Wespe coverage in the PZ II vol. But I'm mostly a late war guy, and not likely to build many more PZ II variants. I'd rather not sink the $$$ into the book.
But if it is the only option, I might have to. Before I bite the bullet, I have a couple of questions.
My question is how much coverage?
Are there any line drawings?
Interior pictures?
Are they the same old pics from the Panzers at Samur vol?

Well there are 14 pages of line drawings of different parts of the Wespe and a couple of pages of pictures taken in museums.... Is it worth it ? I don't know ..If your doing it out of the box ..You'll also get lots of info on the Marder II series and some things on the Lynx too ...Hey you can never have too many books ...
