Hello
I've just build a Panzer II, from a Tamiya kit, and was wondering if anyone knew what the letter "R" on the turret means?
There's a sheet in the kit that tells about it, but only in japanese.. There it is shown only in the African version, but was it there in 1940-41 in Western Europe?
I noticed it was on the PzII featured in the walkaround as well, but painted out:
Thanks in advance...

The "R" followed by 01, 02, etc indicates the tanks used by the Panzer regiment staff officers (01 = commanding officer, 02 = Adjutant and so on). You'll also find the number prefixed with Roman numerals for the battalion staff.

Thanks a lot, that was just what I was looking for!
I've put R 06 on the turret, do you know what would that be?
Thanks in advance...
