where should I submit an entry once it is completed for a campaign? just slap it anywhere onto the main forum or is there some special thing I must do?

Post the info for the entry in the campaign that it was built for. You can enter update and progress reports in the campaign folder by clicking on the campaign icon in the main menu and going to the active campaign that you have enlisted in. The photos of your work can be place in your photo album here on this site and the completed photo or photos can be uploaded to the appropriate campaign photo album.
