Most drugstores (chemists, apothocaries) should also carry it.

Morsecode, Glycerin is a preserving agent. The glycerin sold in pharmacies are used for mending cracked skin (i.e. heels). Preservation of plants is achieved when a freshly cut plant is dipped into a glycerin water mix. The water already in the plant will transpire (evaporate) or leave the plant and will be replaced with glycerin to maintain its rigidity and sometimes its color.

I've carried out many experiments with the stuff and the ability to preserve the plant depends a lot on the plant and the glycerin:water ratio. The recommended rate of 1:3 parts (glycerin:water) I've found to be too viscous and I usually dilute it to anywhere from 1:7 to 1:10. Below are 2 good articles on preservation including the use of drying salts.
