Any opinions on the Academy 1/48 scale kits? Just saw some at the hobby shop.

Look at the lower hull, roadwheels and track. Sabot clued me in that from the upper hull down they all share the same parts. So, I passed. It's in an earlier thread titled Academy 1/48 Aromor. Yep, I miss spelled Armor in that thread.

Steve, run away, avoid the kits. They are reboxes of the Zhengdefu kits that are little better than motorized toys. As Chuck says, they all have the same lower hull and running gear, whether a M2A2, M1A1, T-2, Challenger, etc. At least Academy shows actual build ups of the kit on the box side instead of pirated pictures of 1/35 scale Tamiya build ups.
