Well Folks just got back from a local hobby shop where I just bought Three New 35 scale Models, As follows . (1) Tamiya Hummer w/ M242 Bushmaster Price 22.50 (2) Tamiya German 88mmGun-Flak 36/37 Price 27.00, Tamiya Leopard-2 A/5. Price 44.99.. NOW here's the REAL CATCH, All military items 50% off of original price, That's Right Follks. 50 % Off. SO in other words.. I actually Paid 11.25 for the Hummer, 13.50 for the 88 Gun, AND 22.50 for the German Leopard-2 A/5. Total cost 50.28.
And in case some of you have not figured it out yet. The German Leo-2 A/5 alone normally cost 52.00 with tax.. So do the math, I'll wait...........Yeah, that's right, Three kits for the price of one, Hey, Am I lucky Or What ??. So I JUST HAD to make this known to all my friends here, Since it seem that everyone here has been catching all the breaks. I guess it was my turn.. "OHHH YEAH"

Way to go, Dagger...Nice Haul!!

I just pulled the "88" out of my stash last night, thinking about it for my next project. Looks like a great kit...even better at under $14.00!

Were you at Hobby Lobby my friend?

I can't think of other shops in DFW that would have such a deal!

Hi again!

I went to that shop a couple of times. They opened recently, right? Prices were high when I was there. Were they having a sale or going out of business?

HobbyMaker is a good shop. I went to Phil's mostly.
No trips to DFW in the foreseeable future! I'm up here in the North for a while.

Cheers
Andy

:-) Nope, No going out of Business sale. BUT they are eliminating all thier Military Items. i.e. Armor and accessories. So I just happen to be at the right place at the right time.
Hey Sancho: I guessI just got lucky: Sometimes you just to follow your instincts or that sudden nagging feeling in the back of your head, That is what I did today and....Well the rest you already know.

I got off work early yesterday and I was going to swing by there, but i changed my mind. I just might have to make it there today. Even with my store discount at Hobby Maker, The Leo you got was cheap!!!!!!!! #:-)
