Hi guys
I decided to take a break from working on my DUKW, and do something different. I've started a diorama featuring Tamiya's Kubelwagen. The vehicle will be sitting on the side of a road in southern France. Two German soldiers will be trying to repair the damage suffered from hitting a shell / pot hole. The damage will be a flat tire, a broken lose muffler and maybe some body damage.
My problem is I don't know how to make a tire appear flat. The look I would like is a tire with a bent rim from hitting the hole. If anyone has any ideas it would be a big help.
Thanks in advance
Harry

If they are seperate pieces, I'd try the heating and bending technique on both. If it is one piece it woul be pretty difficult to make a bent rim, but you could still make the tire look burst. or scratchbuild and then destroy a tire. a bit of work though
