Looks like a real PT-76 is out and at an affordable non-resin price: PT-76B.

Sir Sabot,

That's great news! Been waiting for a decent kit of this for years, and I hope that it will be a workable offering vs. that Glencoe (only one I've ever seen) swank of many years ago.

Reviews of this one would be most welcomed!

Thanks,
Kevin Keefe

Great news, however, I too hope that it isn't a rebox of those dinosaurs! Eastern Expresses kits have been iffy in the past, missing rivets etc, let's give them the benefit of the doubt, and If I get ahold of one, I'll post a review..lickity split.

Jack Thanks for the heads up Rob :-)

I believe it is a new tool in 1/35 and not a rebox of the Glencoe 1/32 kit. That kit started out life as the Ringo motorized PT-76 and later boxed by ITC then ressurrected by Glencoe after 30 years. I have a motorized Ringo one andold ITC one as well as the Glencoe one. Depressing that they were all the same kit.

Lets hope this one is much better. I'm not a rivit counter, but even if it has the basic shape right (turret, hull), it will be easier to fix than the old one.

Whoo-Hoo!!!!!

Whoda thunk it?!?

Since I started back into building 10-11 yrs ago, we've gotten it pretty good.

T55's ( well, sort of..) T64,T-72 (including one from Tamiya.. whoda believed that!) ,T80's, BMP 1,2,3, BTR70 & 80, MTLB, BRDM 1,2 and variants, ZSU23, and the Zu23 gun
now a PT76.. drool...

All Skif has to do now is hang on long enough to finish the Tunguska! And do a good job of it!
And Trumperter HAS to get that 1/35 Hind out and into my waiting hands!
greedy ?
darn right I am!

Mike
