Just read Joseph Szczygiel's article on paint chipping.
In the U. K. would "Copydex" be a brand of rubber cement?

Tom...I did an on-line search for Copydex glue, and I don't think that it is the equivalent to Rubber cement in the U.S.-Copydex is a water based glue, the product description sounds like the equivalent to Elmers Glue All here in the states...Rubber Cement is a thick, semi-clear solvent based glue...I'm going to keep searching to try to help you out, sir....

Good Morning, Matt, thanks for joining in...I'm striking out completely on a brand name rubber cement in the UK...It's tough to actually help out sometimes when your not really familiar with another regions products...I'm not giving up yet, though...

Gunny, Matt
I've been searching too. Looks like it's called COW GUM this side of the pond.
Thanks for trying anyway
