Hi - check out my gallery images for the vignette I built. I call it "Gear Up" and it's a scene where a MP patrol is loading up and about to set out on perimiter patrol at Baghdad airport. It's Tamiya's M1025 kit with Eduard's 3 fret PE set, Tamiya, Dragon and scratchbuilt accessories. The sign, water bottle boxes and the Coke box are home made from internet images on my PC with Paintshop Pro. Lemme know what you think..........

Looks great. Any chance you would be willing to send me the file for the Coke and water boxes? They look really nice and realistic. Good job.

Thanks for your comments......
The groundwork is fine and medium buff colored woodland scenics railroad ballast and the larger rocks are selected chunks of aquarium gravel. It's attached to the ceramic bathroom tile I use for the base with white glue and then painted with brown , tan and white washes. I dry brushed with lightened polly scale tan for highlights and then used ground pastel chalks to level out the color. I'll try and upload the file for the water bottle and coke boxes. Where's the best place to put those files ? (they're just jpeg images).

Perhaps you could upload the files somewhere in Armorama gallery... I would be very interested to see the images as well.

The road sign was an image I found on the 'net that I manipulated a bit in PaintShop Pro, printed it on photo quality paper with my trusty HP Photosmart 7150 and glued it to a styrene sheet. I scratchbuilt the supports for the sign with Evergreen stock, stuck it in a couple of Tamiya oil barrels rusted up and painted to look like the Iraqi flag. A couple of bullet holes later and some washes and weathering and voila! I've uploaded the reworked image of the sign to my gallery photos for your use if you like.
Thanks!!
Bob

Hey Neb,
Are those jpegs for the coke and water boxes actual size?? Or were they sized down so as not to take up much room on your gallery??
Just wondering, they looked a little small to me, but could be just me.
Did you use anything to fold them around??? Was thinking just a small piece of scrap wood to fold them around would work.
Thanks for them, will come in handy.
