Howdy feelpanzer,

Mighty nice dio. Your small nuance's that are included in it's creation are nicely done.
I would like some more info on how you went about building the bridge portion of your diorama if you have the time?

Tread.

What an undertaking. Nice job. The construction and planning are great.
My only question is - 'would the sandbags be that light in color?' I don't know so this is a question not a critique.

Hi Feelpanzer,
Before I looked at the gallery, I thought 'what on earth is that guy doing in the cage?' like many others. After looking; Great dio! Love the bridge!

Small questions
what is the building supposed to be, the one covered in sandbags?
how did you make the bridge?

the armor is great, I have also tried making an off-white vehicle look that good, and have failed miserably. First seeing the man on the tower in your post, I thought it was a face painted onto a piece of cloth

Nice, very nice. Good to see a dio involving other UN troops on mission. Well done with the lay out, the small, square base really emphasizes the high of the embankment and sandbag 'construction'. Like Slodder I would like a bit more info on the color of the sandbags, they seem very light.

Cheers
Henk

hello, thanks for all the positieve feedack, i will try to answer all the questions in one mail:

* the mission was Belgian bleu helmets for an UN
mission in Ex -Yougoslavia at the railroad bridge
naer Bilje (Baranja). The tower is an observation
post.

* In the belgian army we have several colors of sandbags green, white, sandcolor... the ones i want to display are the white one's --) UN --) white color
because the UN troops want to be seen not camoflaged . After several weeks in te rain, dust, sunshine the get several colors and shades of white and grey.

* The bridge is made from balsa wood covered whit
plastic card and punch an die rivets on it

* the bush on the dio is made of: basic filigraan
and joefix leafs nr 101 and 102 on it painted and
air- brushed in several colors green.

* the grass is from Heki nr 1592 and Noch 06204also
overprayed whit several colors of green.

If you need more info just ask me I will be hape to try to tell you, sharing information is the
best sollution to protct it and don't get it lost.

modeling greetings.
