I've been picking through photo's of LAV-25's in OIF and can't seem to find a pic of one with a visible CIP panel. I thought every "allied" vehicle was fitted with the? Or am I just looking at the wrong pictures?

Some didn't have the typical CIP, my platoon had them made from plywood and sticky sheets of aluminium spaced apart on both sides of the turret. There are some pics in my user gallery of these improvised CIP's. Hope I was able to help.

Tom,
Yeah, they were made out of 1/4 to 3/8 inch plywood, the supply gurus gave us this aluminized tape, we were sort of at the bottom of the food chain, and that's what we made our CIP panels out of.
