What's a good awy to lighten up panzer gray ? I use testor MM acrylics I just think it's a little too dark Chad

some German WWII armor kits come molded in grey..does that me the modeler just needs to use weathering rather than painting?
I was going to primer my 1/35 Tamiya Hanomag with Tamiya primer...is that going to wash out any details of my model?

Even if the plastic is a close match to the colour it should still be painted. Bare plastic always looks like bare plastic, and no matter now skillful the modeller, there'll always be some glue marks/filler to cover up.

how about for the PAK gun or any artillery...should they also be camoflaged in D-day scheme or just panzer grey..Is that a color?
