I have started my Academy 'battle of the Bulge, Geman infantry ' figure set. Well, I openend the plastic for some testfitting.

Still not sure which vehicle I'll build with it, but I might pick-up a Pzr IV. Have been waiting for an excuse to build on of those for a while...
Happy building.

I am building the Italeri M4A1 Sherman for this build. Might make a small dio if I can get enough building time. Right now I have less than an hour a day, so it could be a stretch.

I can almost hear the rumble of the King tigers. Started work on the ground work today on my dio for the campaign. Still trying to make up my mind on the vehicle. Maybe a hetzer or a 250/9?

I have my Opel truck but can not find the conversion work shop that I wanted to do.
Can anyone let me know who makes it or where I can get one becasue that whole conversion is whats going to make or break my idea but I also have a back up plan of a M4 sherman of some sort.
What type of Shermans where there in that campaign, there those big rollers, rocket launcher, and some nice VLS stuff that would be a nice dio any ideas would be greatful abut what types used.
Thanks
Happy Modeling

If I had to choose between those 2, I would go for the Hetzer. Love that vehicle....well armed, well armored, great design !
Oh, about the shermans, I'm not an expert, but I think nearly every Sherman was in use by that time, except for the M4A3E8...

Well Tom by this time in the war virtually every type of WW2 Sherman had been active. You can't really go wrong. There is even a photo of an M4A1 75mm with M3 bogies still in use!!

Shonen-red
Bless you. I've been waiting and looking at those projects supplies for too long. I'm starting the US GIs "side" of a two part diorama. The other will be the Germans and they will look like "bookends" (thanks for the idea Angela). The US GIs will have a M8 Greyhound pulling a Jeep out of the ditch in the curve of a wooded road as a couple of GIs are running back, yelling at them to leave it and get out of there. "Tank coming and it ain't ours!!!" The German side will be a Panther G with SS Panzergrenadiers deploying to attack. Hope to get both done by deadline, but as a two part should have a least one part. Starting M8 today!!!

I guess I have started. I got my Italeri M4A1 out of my stash and put it on my bench! I will start on it in the next day or so. Right now I am right in the middle of a M26 Pershing. Hey were there any Pershings in the late Bulge battle ? LOL, problebly to late for that one!
This is going to be a awesome campaign gents!
Cheers,
Garry

Well, my project-vehicle is huge, sports zimmerit, has articulated roadwheels and no turret....
The roadwheels are now in Panzer Yellow... In between fighting my computer (still need to get my S-ATA HD running) I might do some more on it this week...
I still have loads of work to do for study, unfortunately.

Well I'm certainly happy that Mr. Wolf (Hometown Hobbies) came through with my M-8 wheels with chains..... :-)
Remember Korea, just about finished, Willy and Joe under way, and my constant "BATTLE of the BULGE, meets the Adrennes Offensive........ think I'll keep busy the next few months.

Started my Academy M10 (what a beaut). It'll be tough to get done as I only get to go home (from college) an average of about once every two-three weeks. But I should get it done. I got up early and started working, getting most of the interior and started on the turret while still having time to work on my German (Deutsch macht Spass, Ja!

) This model is a lot of fun; I LOVE the interior work. Not much to complain about.

I have the Tamiya M4A3 105 on the way. If I have the time I will include it in a dio. The house is for sale and I have everything in boxes so my workshop is half packed away. But I want to see what I can get done. I know I can get the Tank done its just the rest of it all LOL.
