I do like those Dave. Weird looking things aren't they?

PS> (said tongue in cheek) hmmm maybe this is where the Marines got the idea of the "Guntrucks" in Vietnam? :-)

Howdy fellas,

Thx animal for the pics. They are great, and I especially like the lower one.
Those 'aprons' over the rear wheels are just the kind of 'uniqueness' in a project I like to see......

Hey 'Roo. Could I make one of those (the lower photo) out of the Tammy Quad Gun kit??
{Jim really needs to add a smiley rubbing his hands together greedily, don't ya think?)}

Tread.

EDIT: Oh, and aren't those tyre's on that vehicle that same ones you sent me?

the answer to the first part is NO as the vehicle pictured is a Bedford not a CMP......sorry (and I look it? )

the second part about the tyres and wheels is yes you are correct they are the same type,size and rim

see I'm happy about the last bit :-)

The vehicle in the second pic is modelled by MK Models as a Bedford OXA:

Not the best kit in the world, but it's one of only a few 1/35 kits of any of these trucks. Accurate Armour have announced a couple as well.
