Guys
Check out the video clip on this page(it'll take a while to load on dial up) and tell me I'm not seeing a Lee/Grant along with a Panther G and Tiger 1.

Looks like the panther outperforms the grant going over obstacles.

Looks like a propaganda film to show the superiority of the Panther over an American tank. I'd like to see the Panther compared to a T-34 -- the tank design the Germans ripped off to build the Panther. The T-34 would run circles around that cat.

They didn't quite ripp it off. They wanted too, but the German's have more pride in their workmanship then to just steal someone's design.

and thus they ended up with a relatively inferior tank compared to the T-34/85...all the bugs were out of the T-34, the Panther never really got over them. Pride can be a downfall afterall... (snigger, snigger)
(yes, I prefered the russkies over the germans in WWII)
Now, to make things really cool, imagine the T-34 with a german 75mm or 88mm...or better yet, the T-34 used in a german armour unit, with proper discipline, radios, and leadership...(shudder)

Is it just me or does it look like there may be a "booster wall" on the panther side during the wall climb? Almost like it takes a 'step up' before the actual wall?? Nevermind...its too late to ponder that one..
