The Panther II never actually saw action, so any diorama showing it having fought/fighting would be imaginary.
As it is, try at Achtung Panzer for a couple of pictures and notes.
Is it the DML kit? If so, Steve Banas has an article at TL, DML Panther II Construction Notes.
Cheers,
Linz

The Panther II only ever existed in the prototype stage, but I found a few pics at Achtung Panzer!

Hope they help, who makes the kit, by the way?

Hi,
You could make a dio of one at the factory yard with mechanics and/or inspectors around it. It will be a real one.

Chrismag,
The greatest tool we have as modelers is creativity. There are no rules that say you have to be 100% historically accurate with everything you build. You could have your Panther II facing off with a Walker Bulldog or M-47 Patton and palce it in a fictional battle in the 1950's. You could simply set it up in a combat situation and tell any critics, "Yeah, so? It's a what if project." Remember, he number one goal here is fun.

I agree with Tuga on this. I think the kind of setting he mention's
is perfect ! Maybe you can title it: " The Big Cat That Never Scratched " ( LOL )
......just a thought !
I know of the 2 prototypes that were built, After the war, one was bought to Fort Knox.
I don't know if it still is there.

Or you can do a Dio with allied soldiers inspecting the captured Panther II on the factory ground.
