Italeri have gone ww2 Pacific mad, my question is regarding the colouring of the LVT's & DUKW's. It appears that each beach was given a colour and a number (ie: Yellow 2), and this was then painted as strips on the side of the transport. Where they were painted on the side, this is a slight mystery. This was painted on top of the three-tone camo scheme. Any input and webpages would be helpful. It appears that in the UK, this new theme of Pacific ww2 has taken off, most of us have built every german Afv ever built, we need a fresh idea and this could be it, one drawback lack of personal.
