What is the freezing temperature for acrylic paint, in Farenheit? Im sure that some chemical in it will change it from the usual 32 freeze point for water. This said because my house does not have heating yet, and winter is coming. I picked up a few bottles of paint and they felt pretty cold.

hmmm interesting question, dont know off the top of my head. do you have fireplace or some sort of heating element for your house, or when you say you have no heating, you mean NONE whatsoever? if you have a firplace i recommend just run yourfireplace (whenever its cold) and keep your paints in a box next to it....just my 2 cents (u.s. currency that is )

first off i would recomend you get your house heated first then worry about paints, or move to a apartment or some other "heated" place during the winter (of cource, your winters may not be like the ones i get, but i'm guessing their still cold)

but if u still need to know the frezing point, email the company (preferably through the site that deals with paints alone, if there is one) and ask them yourself

and if all else fails, stick them under your arm pits

HA :-) sticking paints under your armpits! make sure the bottle is closed tight first. wouldnt want a german ambush camo scheme under your arms

Wow - Ok - I know it snowed in the Ithaca area in NY.... Hope you're not there.

Anyway - I would invest in a small cooler and store your paints in there. It's good for keeping cold in, well, why not keeping cold OUT.....
