I want to paint this camo sceme with a paint brush,as my air brush is playing up.should i thin the paint ,am using tamiya acrylics .should it be a 50/50 mix or will that be too weak.any advice to help me get started.Thanks in advance

50/50 is far to thin for brush painting. I suggest straight out of the bottle but only put a thin coat on and spread it out

I use about 2 thirds paint and 1 third thinner, this'll get it to a consistancy similar to milk, which is what i find works best!

I would paint the base color on a piece of sheet plastic or on a large spare part and then try the camo paint on this using variuos thinning ratios. This way you will find out what works on your model without ruining the paintjob on your model.

i'd normally thin it to about 30/70.... 30 thinner and 70 paint
i find that straight out of the jar (Tamiya paints) is too thick...

I prefer to use enamels for brush painting. They seem to take thinning much better than acrylics.
