Hi all
These are a typical half timbered german house. I made it with a core structure of cardboard (2mm thick)
Over it I was glue all beams made with balsa wood. Spaces bethween wood is filled with Das pronto. For avoid retract the paste I put glue in the carboard and in the wood. I hope that soon I have time for make another tutorial that explain better these tecnique. These is very sutiable for make walls very roughtly as you can seen in old peasant houses in some parts of central and Eastern Europe.

Very nice, Lieutenant, good representation of your subjects...I can imagine an interesting Dio to use these buildings in...Must try this construction method soon...Quite a substantial savings from trying to purchase a comparable structure!

I've noticed that a couple of the bases seem to be warped. Could be the pictures, not sure? Do you run into any warping of the sub-wall material? If so, is there enough 'give' in the structure to bend it back?

Yes, some times base is warping, due to tension that glue exert, same as walls, but when you glue the structure to wood base this effect is missing. Same with the walls, when you asembly four walls of the house wall remains perfectly ritgh. Eventually you must make a extra wall inside the house

Carlos, the talent you obviously have for this kind of work should be given a better showcase... This kind of work should really be kept for ' posterity' in the features section...Jim
