This a typical russian wooden house is made as ussual with a carboard core: I glue strips of balsa wood in it. Windows are constructed in plastic.

This is ucranian bell tower, I take the idea from a postcard that find in internet. In this case I not make a cardboard core. I make it as real thing beam over beam. Roof is made with aluminiun take from a offset print machine.

I hope that are interesting for us

Calos - you sure can crank out some great buildings. They are truely art.
What are your plans for them. There are so many a wide variety of them. Are they for dioramas, is this your building focus, are they commision work?

Well,
Most of these buildings are comissions for other modellers. Some of these buildings will be published in magazines others was published, others are gifts for friends ans some are only experiments with the materials for tell to friends. Now I´m experimenting with the cardboard . My aims when I put these photos here is tell to people interested in urban dioramas some paths for make is buildings. We have very good firms that make these stuff, but in some cases we want something special...
I wish tell to people that is easy make is how dessings, only need a very cheap materials and imagination :-)

Very nice buildings Carlos. Fine craftsmanship.

I would love to see some of them finished.

How about an article on how to make houses, from cardboard and balsa?

Ola Carlos,

Like you I also like to scratch build my structures using day to day materials...I find your posts very informative and like what the others say, maybe you could post an article on how you made them...it would definitely help other modelers.

Your works are truly amazing....

Cheers

Carlos,

Once again, I applaud you, nice buildings. On the first building, what did you use for the ornamental trim around the windows?
