Quite Professionals vignete progress pics

Here is a few pics of my progress of my Navy Seals vignete. I still have alot of ground cover to do. I've scratched built several types of jungle plants from aluminum pie plates the elephant ears in the back ground are one example. Should I leave the three Seals or have only two.

Very nice... I love it. I like the idea. I really like the groundwork-the tree looks really nice-where did you get it from?
I take it this will be a Vietnam Era Operation?
Also, the soldier to the right with the pouches on the back of the shoulders-what kit is it from?

Looking to be a very promesing vignette!
I would cut the guy holding the carbine up a little shorter so it looks like he is deeper then the rest, otherwise he would not be holding the rifle like he is but would be at the ready like the other two guys.

Its not the water that will be added later its just the paint I used for my base undercoat. I will be adding EnviroTex two part resin and Woodland Scenics water effects in this area. What is the reddish brown stuff supposed to be that the figures are in?

Looks great so far, but I'd offer two suggestions
1 more foliage , especially at the waters edge and growing out toward the water, since that is where the plants would not be competing as much for light
2 If the figures are not glued into place, see how the rearmost figure would look walking drag, backing toward the shore keeping an eye out behind them.
But since there is no far shore in the frame, we (the viewer) do not know if this is a small stream crossing midmission or an insertion from a larger waterway.
My $0.02 US your mileage may vary.
