Gunnie brought up the fact that the Fonderie kit is not worth the $40+. I've seen the Lindberg reissue kicking around for $15 or so. Does anyone know of a build up review or detail set to bring the Lindberg kit up to modern standards?

I know that the gun shields & tubs, .30 cals and the internal stowage (crates, etc.) need to be replaced. I'm thinking that the molded on hawser that surrounds the outer hull edge needs to be removed and replaced by rope, what else?
