Here I went and put in in general modeling, and forgot all about our new section on soft skins. I got a Land Rover and I was wondering if the frame and bumpers were made out of aluminum, the same as the body.

The chassis of all Landrover models from the series 1 up to the latest Wolf are all made from steel.this includes the front bumper which is usually galvanised then overpainted. The front bulkhead (firewall) is also made from steel. The vast majority of the remaining body panels are made from an aluminium alloy called birmabright. Hope this helps.

This Land Rover is an American one, with the Steering wheel on the left, no guns, just a family version, but sense they didn't throw in any guns of the sorts, they did detail it a lot more, they had to give something else to give you your moneys worth.
This one has brake and clutch peddles, where as my Desert rats version had them molded in the floor.
I was hoping to paint the whole body aluminum, then paint it the color I want so the aluminum will show thru on the chips, so now that I found out the frame is steel I can go ahead with building the chassis.
Cause I'm going to wait on the airbrush to do the aluminum, but I can brush the steel.
Thank you for the quick replies
