....... but the cork has a more coarse grain to it............

When I first saw the factory building by Carlos, I was blown away and had to find out more. I searched a bought some Cork. I was talking to Anders Isacsson at a local IPMS meeting and he had recieved some sample cork pieces from Carlos. The two cork samples were totally different. The cork I had, was made up from big chunks but the cork Anders recieved was made up from really small pices and looked almost sandy in its appearance. I have still never found that type of cork.

Carlos ..... you should by a bulk load of the cork type you use and sell it. It seems impossible to buy elsewhere. Could be some extra pocket money for you!

It looks from your recent articles that it has stirred up a lot of interest!

YES this is the name that I whish find without luck!!!
GASKETS ( junta de culata in spanish) these pieces hare made in the most fine grain that you can seen :-)
I see some works in features section made with cork and yes I see that these cork have more big chunks that mine.
I have send some sheets of cork that I use to some friends around the world ( Hi Anders ) the price of sheet of two mm. thick and 70X100 cm is ridiculous here (1,50€), but stamp cost is 5 times more more expensive If some people are interested in these material, please send me a private messaje and we try make and arrangement.
Carlos
