Another instant dio project. done @ only 5 hour time. the panzer was straight from the box from italeri. done some time ago. i thought it wud be great to have a small base for it so here goes...
Ive added some camo netting as u can see here in the finished diorama. the base are from plaster and ive put some real sand and static grass for the ground work.
well i think i dont have much to say on this panzer dio coz currently im focusing on my newest diorama .The Ardennes Offensive 1944. The one ive planned for sometime ago...the resuplying tiger with marching troops and briefing smoking soldiers..
thanks...

Outstanding. Sometimes you just don't have the patience to spend weekend after weekend building. A quick and simple tank on a base does the trick many times. And forget the super detailing. Go OOTB.

Very nice, and in 5 hours... well done.
Just a few points I think you want to lookat with your next project. The camouflage netting is a bit to 'big', it covers the turret to much. It will get in the way if the turret needs to traverse and the side hatches are unusable. Also if you soak the netting in PVA glue before applying it drapes down more natural. The drivers hatch is opened at a wrong angle. It would not stay open like that unsupported and would also be in the way of the barrel. The hatches for driver and radio operator open all the way, lying horizontily flat forward.
I like the paint job, very nicely faded camouflage and good figure.
Cheers
Henk

Hey, Danny, Greetings from Pennsylvania...Let me jump in and say that I think the Italeri Pz IV is a very good kit, one of the best for the money spent...I don't think you will be dissapointed if you go get yourself one...

Did you alter the lighting and color hues on the photography on purpose? I think the look of the photos makes the dio look fantastic!

Spiritseye, if you like your Pzr IV that much, and judging by your gallery you do, have a look here https://armorama.kitmaker.net/review/616
