Here is another one of my many projects in the works. The base is from Verlinden painted with Vallejo paints.
The Bradley and M1A1 are from Dragon and the Hummer is from Revell of Germany. I am using the Czech Masters resin detail sets for the Bradley and M1A1. I am also using the Eduard photo etch set for the M1A1.

What do you all think so far???????

Shaping up really well. The sand has a nice toning. How did you do it?

Shonen,
Its just 3 Vallejo colors and a wash: Iraqui Sand, Dark Sand, and Offwhite. The wash is Vallejo Saddle Brown and Black.

Hey Pete, looks good. You say 1/72 as in scale? cool, i've never seen a hummer kit that small. It looks like a great kit. Paint job on the base looks good spot on, nice blend of colors.

Man what a terrible war. Is nothing sacred nowadays?

The iraqi rebels completely took off the paint of that Abrams and they stole the wheels of that Humvee..... Bastards :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

Nice begin of this dio. not being a modern armor builder I like desert dio`s.

Robert,
:-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) !

Joseph,
Yup, 1/72 scale. The Hummer is Revell of germany's new kit. It actyually comes with 2 Hummers in it, the turtle shell you see here and a cargo carrier version. When I got home and open the box, I thought they packaged two of the same sprues, but furher examining the kit, it turned out there hwere 2 sepereate vehicles and the kit was only $13.00.

Definately some more in progress photos will be coming. I have 2 different set of Prieser 1/72 modern figures packed away some where and will be pulling those out. Plus Prieser will be releasing 1/72 Modern US Tankers hopefully soon.

Ok, it looks very good so far! there are some things you might want to think about.
1.)Putting more rubble beside the bulding.
2.)It looks a bit crowded, maybe take out atleast one tank. Just think how the AFV's got into that postition. It looks akward.
Thats it! Keep us posted!

i think it looks good the way it is....i do think there more rubble but i dont think you are there yet. Also i do like the position of the vehicles being a group of 3, although u might put the bradley first because it is more armored. I really like the sand tones and the fuel drums being sunk in...great job...keep us posted! cheers!

Looks very nice, the groundwork is top quality!!!
Hard to believe this is only 1/72

Maybe you can add / put some shells next to the ammo boxes, to put some different colours in the dio?

Did the rubble and bins and boxes come with the base or did you add it yourselve?

I can't wait to see the hummer finished!
It really looks great
