Hi guys, It snowed in Joliet yesterday and it snowed again today in my basement :-) Here a couple of progress shots of my dio for the Ardennes offensive campaign after adding the snow. Just need to add the figures and this one will be history.

Wow, I love it!! :-) Nice work!! The fence looks a little big compared to the hetzer, but I think the hetzer itself is small and that's why the fence looks so big.....well I should see some figures next to it to see it better
Again, very nice work, you sure deserve the campaignaward

Howdy waterboy,
Really nice dio Don. You're Hetzer is well painted (thx for the close up shots), and looks good. You've created a very nice sense of 'atmoshere' with the addition of the new fallen snow.
I find myself looking for deisel fumes .
As to the fence being out of scale, I believe Martinnn hit the nail on the head. The Hetzer is surprisingly dimunitive and just makes the fence appear to be larger. As an illustration, just take a look at the rabbit waterboy so creatively added to his dio.
If the Hetzer was a full sized tank, that rabbit would be the size of a small mountain lion!
Anyway, mighty nice work there Don, and a superb addition to the Campiagn!
Tread.
Oh, sorry, can't resist one wee 'nit' (my apologies ). But, I would make the tread tracks in the road behind the Hetzer stand out (darker) a bit more than the tracks in front of the vehicle. I would also add a tad more gloss to them to indicate a 'wetter' appearance compared to the dusted over tracks in front. I believe this would gently add more realism, and a subtle indication of movement within the diorama.
Just don't 'over'do it.

Waterboy -
Outstanding job! I really like the snow, and think it is harder to get the newly fallen, lighter effect across then then a heavy snow. You've done yourself justice. With this one about done, you've got time for more. And with this effort and great build, Id be anxious to see more!
Great job.
