on the decaling sheet for my Tamiya 2 1/2 ton truck most of the instructions call for the word "Lucky" to be put on the front edge of the hood..
my question.
Is this some type of manufactuer mark or emblem.. or just something some of the crews put on the truck?
also here is a pic of my Move It entry in progess.. more pics are posted in the move it forum..

First off the truck is coming along nicely. the decal is most likely the nickname giving to the truck by it's driver. This was a common practice during WW 2 and up through Vietnam. I named the tanker truck, M-49 A1, that I drove in Nam Li'l Squirt.

Animal is right. Thr 'LUCKY' decal in the Tamiya kit is the drivers name for the truck and not an official emblem as such.
