I am working on Tamiya's M3 light tank kit. I saw an M5's individual tack kit from AFV.
I was wondering if any of you knew if the M5 tracks are compatable with the M3? The kit is AFV's M5 light tank individual track kit (kit = af35020).
Don't want to spend money on a kit that wont fit, cuz then I'd have to spend More money and get an M5 - ohh what a cycle that would be.

I belive that AVF's other set (#35019) would be more suitable for an M3 Stuart. I've not found any photos showing an M3 using the steel cleat tracks you're asking about, at least not yet.

The track set you would be better off using is kit # 35019 from AFV Club- like Geoff mentioned. They are designated type T16.
Accurate Armour also has some indi. tracks for the M3 along with ModelKasten.

Sorry Ken sir, but the Accurate Armour tracks are Length types, in resin. They are excellent however, and I can recommend them toroughly, having already used them.

Scott--T-16 track. They are great, follow the AFV instructions, fits like a glove and really dresses up the model.
Good Luck!
