Tsunami;

Unless I'm suffering from a serious brain-fart (not altogether unknown for me , I don't see an image.

Looking forward to seeing the image.

When you said 'best diorama in the World', that gave it a lot to live up to. However, when I saw the image I had to agree. I have never seen a better diorama!

Hmmm..

A very impressive diorama, but 'best in the world' ...?? I've seen more impressive dio's involving buildings, but that's not to knock this one down.
One thing though, regarding the grass on the left. I'm not sure what it is meant to be. If this is the Ardennes in the winter, I doubt there would be any high grass left growing. That aside, the mud is fantastic.

... I am actually looking for the person who made this. So if you know please tell me!

Maybe the copyright notice in the right bottom of the photo gives a clue. Talking of which, if you use other peoples pic's, it's only good manners to credit them in the post or something.

Cheers
Henk

That is indeed a good diorama, but in my eyes only a Vietnam diorama can hold that title :-)

Hi

I've seen both diorama's before, and they're both beautifull.

For the Ardennes diorama, why don't you ask the builder himself? His name is Leung, and I believe this is his email...(I found it on a scale model site)

[email protected]

I think the last dio shown (with the bridge) is the nicest of these two. They both have a lot of models, but I think the bridge is just a piece of art! However I don't want to call them the best dio's in the world....I think I haven't seen 'em all already :-)

Don't you just love dioramas

One week the thought provoking thread regard "Rules for building dios" and the ideas were everywhere.

This week it's "Best in the World" !

It only gives credit to the notion that dirama building is an art and art is in the eye of the beholder.

Both are wonderful dioramas. I think the bridge builder is a member here, I seem to remember seeing some early pics of it, can't for the life of me remember who though

Ola Guys

The Name of This Diorama is if I`m not mistaking "Wacht am Rein and is made by MC Leung. Even better is the fact that the pictures were in an On Display which is featured here on Armorama.
This would ake you happy. Nice figures in this one too
Wacht am Rein by MC Leung
This guy when you do a search has more quite interesting diorama`s:
This is also one of MC Leungs dio`s
Final Countdown by MC Leung
He also made some brilliant Vietnam dioramas I managed to track a couple down but sadly some of the pics of dio`s he done aren`t working anymore.
Ace of Spades
Search and destroy
And I found some other WW2 dio`s too
Operation Barbarossa
Tank Killer

Robert
I also am regularly looking at the diorama`s of Mr. Neumann from Dynamicdioramas.org. He makes some massive and interesting pieces.

OK, Alot of you guys are wondering why I called it the best dio in the world. It is a pretty good dio, but I think I might have seen better. Well i named it that to give it a catchy subject so more people would look at it. What I really wanted people to do was answer my question about grass and so fourth. So I guess I accomplished selling the dio, but getting people to respond in the right way. I did like to here all of your guys comments Thanks alot guys.

This appears to be a different view on a dio on Track-Link.
