That is one huge towing hook ! Have you thought of any practical application or is it just for decoration ?

i have no clue what tank it would be from, it could be from any number of tanks including the panther, tiger, king tiger, ect. all i know is it isn't from any German tank smaller then the panther.

as for " practical application" its just a decorative piece, it displays really nicely

Funny. It actually looks like a cult idol from the bronze age!
Or something. #:-)

Itīs beautiful. Thatīs exactly what I want in my bookshelf! I would tell my wife that it IS a cult idol from the bronze age, though!

When I was in the army 20 years ago, we were told the enemy tanks could come into our country any moment. But they never told us they would come in pieces through Fedex !!!

Hi My fellow Sonntag Bund brother, it's a nice piece of decoration. It's definitely for heavy panzers, because anything less than the Panzer V Panther was using the S shape towing hook. God I would love to get my hand on one, just out of curiosity, how much is this piece of cult symbol cost you, and what the cost will be like for the pz IV tracks?

Thanks!

The hook cost me $125 plus shipping ($50), i know it was a lot but to me it was worth it. panzer IV tracks are $35 a piece plus shipping which i don't know what that would be ($30?). I've seen panther tracks for sale but there rare.

Bob, you now have to get yourself a 1959 Caddilac Converible and weld that to the hood in place of Texas Longhorns.
