For my guntruck I was adding some sandbags to it. When I was painting it ( A dark Tan) after they were painted and stil wet, I diped my brush a pile of sand and dabbed it onto the sandbag. For the sandbags I used a clay, Iam not sure of the name of the clay I'll have to get back to you on that. This idea just came to me and they look really good.

Hummm....
I'm still using the old t-shirt/cotton skivies pressed into the self-hardening clay method... Just got done making up about 50 too.
I once did a M110 dio with 1,289 (but who's counting) sandbags. #:-)
Thanks,

One of the things I have been enjoying lately is trying things like that. Just doing it and seeing how it works. I am glad that it worked out for you. What type of sand did you use? The stuff off the local playground or did you find something finer than that?

Iam not really sure what kind of sand that I used. Theres a play ground in our backyard, so I just used the sand out of there. There are some big stones but they werent used in the sandbags.
