Hi,
I'm using Neill's technique in making the ruins and street of my Ardenne's diorama. It's very simple and very effective.
You can also check blockhaus's cardboard and cork technique.

There are bilions of ways to make buildings...
I prefere using some kind of ceramic stuff. You can work with it in the same way as with plaster, but it´s more resistant against breaking.
What you have to do is making a casting-form and cast the liquid mass in int. After drying you can apply any structure you want (bricks, wood, stones...) with a knife or a wirebrush, etc.
If you forgot something (eg. like a window sill) simply put a dropof the liquid ceramic on the wall and let it dry a little bit (dont let it become really hard). Then you can cut the ceramic you dont need off, and let it finally dry.

Thanks alot guys! I dont want to cast stuff because it is complicated. I had an idea that you get a plate of plaser and then just get adremel or something to cut and texture?
