I have extended the end date to June 15 So hopefully we can get some more people signed up. So how is everyone doing on their projects so far? I know I havent started mine yet. I am stuck somewhere where building is hard

Unfortunately, I haven't started my project due to Project X but am nearly finished with that. Project will be an HH-60 in desert colors, a relatively quick build. I may also be doing a few more, probably a Stryker Brigade Team sniper in OIF or a psych warfare Humvee.

I primed some 120mm figures, but I wouldn't call them SF-specific enough to enter since they do represent conventional forces. I do have Kirin's 200mm SEAL Desert Storm primed, but I was planning on not making it Desert Storm.
I may enter VP's 120mm SWAT, or some 1/35 DML kitbashes instead.
I really need an extension on the "Alone, Against All Odds" campaign though. With the horrible cold weather here, I can't spray primer outside, and as such progress has stalled.
Do you plan to hand out ribbons as people finish and post or hand out ribbons after June 15th?
Thanks for the extension. I also need to figure out how to take quality photos with my new digital camera. Seems that the photos I take come out dark despite all the light I shine. Hmmmm .

I have to re-do my second intended entry... I finished the figures for the Seals at Patila but the base turned out horribly boring... I planted them on the runway and being that it is an airfiled runway it ended up extremely plain-flat black sircle... white markings on the pavement... a little bit of short grass on the side... and the Seals are standing up with one aiming the other advancing.... just too plain... I am planning to reorgarnize the dio to show one Seal Advancing while the other is covering/aiming from a rock ridge-just getting out of the water and onto the land. If I manage to get a digishot of the current display I'll post it just to show how to NOT build a figure dio... it is extremely boring.

I'm still stuck in the final stages of my vignette, involving the British SBS raiding a drug boat on the Thames. Got into the modellers depression syndrome (ARRRGH) where you are near the finishing line but you start to lose interest.
I've only have to touch up the river, finish the roof on cabin, add some crates on the port and of course put straps on the SBS. Instead I end up wasting my time playing my old computer games (Disgusting).

Arghhh!!
Haven't started yet. Actually haven't even figured for sure what I'm going to build even...but I have narrowed it down- sorta!
Life keeps interfering with modelling!
Finally got a digital camera (early Christmas gift) so I can post pics when I get my lazy butt in gear.

I've completed my first entry a Lancia Lince (a Dingo clone) in service with an airborne unit of the Italian police in late 40s...
I've already posted in the Campaigns forum and more pics are in my gallery...

Viva...
Well my FFL small diorama is on the move, the 3 figures are half painted, and the desert base in also half made... Just need to be painted and the ground elements added (some stones, some grass and weeds)... Probably a couple of weeks and it will be finished...
See yaaa
Happy New Year!
