I just did a big time screw up. I wanted to paint the lines on my canopy so I masked it all up & then painted it. Some paint got into the inside of it (the concave part). I thought I would use acetone (what I always use to take out unwanted paint) & tried to scrub it off with cotton wool soaked in acetone. It practically just spread the paint & fogged up the entire canopy from the inside.
What do I do??

Well, you have a number of options available but two are the most prominent; order a new one from the company or use physical means to remove the paint and fogging. Ordering would be relatively painless. For the second option, you are going to need to sand the canopy using progressively finer grit sandpaper. After you get down to extremely fine grits, use normal toothpaste (not gel) to remove more of the scratching. Then dip the canopy in Future floor wax to clear up the canopy.

Now I am really in a worst case scenario. I tried to sandpaper the canopy but it broke in my hands. Now I have to get a new one.
I went to the academy website but I couldnt find anything which said that you can order single parts.
Left with no other alternative I called them up in Korea. I spoke to some fellow who told me to send an email to an address which he gave me. I did that. Do you think that they will deliver a canopy all the way here?
